HR Ethics and it’s behavior at work place

Ethics in HR

“Ethics in HR is responsible for channelizing the human resources of an organization via a code of ethical and professional standards to get immaculate solutions to all ethical issues and ensure the ethical success of the organization”. (Bhasin, 2021)

The importance of ethics in HR

The HR department, being one of the most important departments in an organization, is directly involved in all employee ethical concerns. It is not only the role of the HR department to engage in business ethics; it is also the responsibility of the organization's leaders and managers. If these were not handled effectively, it would have a negative impact on the organization's sustainability, profitability, and brand recognition. As a result, building a reputation as an ethical employer is critical in terms of retaining existing employees and attracting new qualified and experienced employees to the organization, as employees will have more opportunity to improve, which will boost productivity and efficiency. (Ingram, 2019)
