What is recruitment?
“Recruitment refers to the process of identifying,
attracting, interviewing, selecting, hiring and onboarding employees. In other
words, it involves everything from the identification of a staffing need to
filling it”.
HR Role in recruiting candidate
Recruitment can take place both within and outside of the
organization. It is the responsibility of the organization's HR to recruit the
most competent individuals with qualifications, experience, skills, and
capabilities, and the objective of implementing this process is to ensure that
the company is able to identify the most qualified person to accomplish the
organization's end goal. Recruiting the right individual will have a beneficial
influence, but hiring the incorrect person will cost a lot.
Internal & external recruitment
Organizations prefer to recruit internally since it takes
less time and allows them to find required capabilities candidates based on
existing employees' qualifications and skills. The option to hire internally or
externally may be made by the company based on the benefits and disadvantages
listed below.

Recruitment aids in identifying those
who are most qualified for the job based on the job description. It should be a
method for bringing in the right personnel without incurring additional costs.
As a result, production will rise, and short- and long-term objectives will be
met. As long as the organization follows the right recruitment procedure, it
will ensure that the company does not hire people who are under or overqualified,
saving both individuals and business owners time.
Conclusion
Finding the ideal staff is a difficult
task. Recruitment aids in the development of a long-term strategy to ensure
that the company achieves all of its objectives and increases the company's
profitability. A strong recruitment process will help to
increase the company's reputation and it is a methodical and
well-organized process. The way you hire people will influence whether your new
hire is a benefit or a burden to the company.
